Pacasmayo has one of the best left-handed waves in Peru and it finds itself convieniently located in proximity of various other breaks. Approximately 20km south you´ll find the waves of Poemape. A solitary beach, which has good waves and is never crowded. A little further south to  Pacasmayo, 65km, is the world famous point break Chicama. 35km past Chicama you can tour Trujillo city,known as "The Capital of Culture and Eternal Spring" where you´ll enjoy its colonial architecture and can also visit Chan Chan, the largest mud city in the world.

100 km north of Pacasmayo is Chiclayo city, where you can do archeological tourism. In Lambayeque you have the lord's  of Sipan and Sican's museum, as well as enjoy typical foods among another entertainments.
